One trade is a single session away from proving the thesis

564% or higher when the market doesn’t move? There’s a program with a history of finding stock winners …
On the market’s quietest days. Feb. 18, 2025, was a day of no action.
Yet this algorithm recommended a stock that went up 610%.
Oct. 18, 2021, was another boring day. But this software recommended a 564% winner that day.
April 10, 2023? Another tame day, another big win.790% since then in fact.
So how did it do it?
Today's market and our positions
CORT is up nearly 29% in three days. That's the kind of number that makes you double-check the math. We checked. It's real. SPY had a strong session today — closed near $743.66, up about 1.95% — and that rising tide helped, but CORT was already running well ahead of it. That's the whole point. Our Relative Strength Engine exists to find names that outrun the index and stay with them until the setup breaks down. Right now, nothing's broken down. Day 19 of tracking this publicly, and the system sits at +0.5% cumulative against SPY's -1.3% over the same window — +1.7% alpha and still widening. No closed trades today, so the scoreboard is clean. Here's where every position stands.
What our open trades are doing
Let's go position by position. CORT (day 3): entered at $91.92, now at $118.32 — a +28.72% open gain while SPY moved just +0.11% over the same stretch. We're not pressing it yet. The Relative Strength Engine stays in until price behavior gives a reason to exit, and so far this chart hasn't flinched. SNOW (day 4): entered at $270.92, now at $303.00, up 11.84%. SPY gained 0.35% over the same window. That's +11.49% alpha on a four-day hold — a pace worth respecting. DDOG (day 2): entered at $254.75, now at $270.02, up 5.99% against SPY's +1.68% — alpha of +4.32%. Two days in and it's already pulling ahead of the index. Then there's EVC, which has two separate entries in the book — a quirk of the engine re-flagging the same name. The day-17 position is slightly underwater at -1.11%, though it's still beating SPY by 0.24% over that window. The day-1 position, entered at $11.55, is essentially flat at +0.61%. EVC is the weakest name in the portfolio right now, and we're watching it honestly.
Today's closed trades, post-mortem
No trades closed today, so there's no post-mortem to run. Every open position is still in motion. Win rate sits at 0% — zero closed trades, zero wins — and that's not a data error. You can't win a trade you haven't closed. That number stays exactly where it is until something actually crosses the finish line. Worth naming plainly so no one reads a blank field as a missing one.
What could change by tomorrow's open
The name that deserves the most scrutiny heading into tomorrow is EVC day 17. Seventeen days in the book and it hasn't gone anywhere meaningful. The Relative Strength Engine has a patience threshold, but dead weight is dead weight — and in a weak tape, names without momentum tend to give back faster than names with it. On the other end of the portfolio, CORT and SNOW are running strong, but gains that arrive quickly can also leave quickly. Both are extended relative to their recent ranges. A gap-down open on SPY could put simultaneous pressure on everything here at once. We're also watching for any sector rotation that pulls capital away from the tech-adjacent names doing most of the heavy lifting on alpha. One bad morning doesn't break the thesis, but it's worth knowing where the soft spots are before the open.
What we're watching tomorrow
Tomorrow morning the engines scan fresh. CORT's chart is going to be interesting to look at — it's extended, but extended can stay extended longer than anyone expects. The question worth sitting with overnight: if a new RS signal fires in the same sector as an existing position, does the engine concentrate or pass? We'll know what it found by morning.
